“SafeGuarding” Mike Best

Dear Club Member,

In light of ongoing disturbing news of historic abuse cases within youth football, Cuckfield Cosmos FC would like to reassure parents and guardians that the safety and welfare of our young players is paramount. As a FA Charter Standard Club we strive to achieve the highest standards for safeguarding our players at all times. The Club has a Safeguarding Policy with clear procedures for raising concerns and is committed to providing safe environments for our children to enjoy their football.

The clubs safeguarding policy can be found on our website: Children

All Cuckfield Cosmos Managers, Coaches and Parent Coaches (totaling over 90 people) are required to complete CRC checks at Enhanced Level through The FA CRB Unit. They are also required to attend The FA Safeguarding Children training and qualification, which must be renewed every three years.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact your Team / Squad manager, The Club Welfare Officer or The Club Secretary -
